More than 90% of the German population is familiar with Apollinaris. Apollinaris is currently available in more than 40 countries around the world, and more than 500 people in Germany alone work to ensure the water offers enjoyment of drinking water and quality.
The modern bottling plants anticipate future challenges to the company in global competition, in which rationalisation plays an increasingly important role.
One tradition that remains: the product continues to be produced in Bad Neuenahr, at the foot of the vineyard where winegrower Georg Kreuzberg first discovered a mineral spring in 1852 and named it after St. Apollinaris, a patron saint of wine.
